Interested in pre-cruise stay near Port of Miami...is Biscaya in an ok area? Just need 2 basic clean rooms for 5. Will be driving to port. Thanks! b

Yeah, it's in a nice area... It's about 15 minutes or so from the Port of Miami.

Holiday Inn, Port of Miami..will allow 5 to a room also...we booked that for our pre-cruise Hotel..

I had thought about the Holiday Inn but the cost is $30 cheaper at the Biscaya and they don't charge for parking. Pretty sure I read the Holiday Inn charges $10 to park. Strange. So that makes it $40 more ! We'll be dropping our rental car at the pier on cruiseday. Trent mentioned the area wasn't bad that the Biscaya is in and as long as the place is relatively clean & comfortable, I'd be happy. So far no one's mentioned anything bad about the place and it looks ok on the website.
