Royal E331 - Is this an upgrade?

I received an upgrade notice today to this cabin from a DZ guarantee. I have tried to find pictures of this balcony to see what the partial obstruction is but haven't found one yet. If anyone has any info or pics I would be most grateful.

Exterior photo. Obstruction is the lifeboat. You will have the top of the lifeboat at about the level of the balcony floor....maybe a little higher than that.

Just got off the Royal , repo from NY. Was assigned E501. It was a great cabin , would book it again in a flash. The life boat is directly in front but by no means did it diminish the great view. Enjoy.

I think I would have preferred one of the DZ cabins based on their location and now Princess refuses to move me back to that category even though I called within a half hour of getting the "supposed" upgrade email. I have learned an important lesson and will NEVER book a guarantee again.
