Millenium Med. cruise 2006

Hi:

We recently booked a Mediterranean cruise for next summer on the Millenium. I usually sail on Hal but I liked this itinerary on Celebrity. My question is: Many of the categories were already full for a lot of the June cruises.

For all you seasoned Celebrity cruisers:What is with that? Thanks

It's hard to know for sure, but European cruises are often planned a year or so out. It's particularly desirable if you're wanting to travel with air miles, as those need to be booked (essentially) as they become available.

An added complication is that most lines also allow Travel Agents to block rooms without deposits, so a lot of bargain / particularly nice / scarce cabins get pulled out of the itinerary pool early - often to end up being dumped late (Yes, that's a pet peeve of mine, how did you guess?)
