BIG GUY Posted November 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Thinking of 2015 Hawaii on Miracle. Does anyone know if Miracle's drydock and upgrades schedule is final? I think I read March 15' for drydock. And are the 2.0 upgrades confirmed?
CAnative1 Posted November 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 12, 2014 I don't believe that it will have any work as far as any more 2.0 upgrades go. It is mainly going in for work on the propulsion problem that it is currently experiencing
Domino D Posted November 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Thinking of 2015 Hawaii on Miracle. Does anyone know if Miracle's drydock and upgrades schedule is final? I think I read March 15' for drydock. And are the 2.0 upgrades confirmed? This was the press release from May on the Carnival website. http://carnival-news.com/2014/05/22/carnival-miracle-to-launch-year-round-mexican-riviera-sailings-carnival-legend-to-operate-lines-popular-alaska-program-in-2015-2/ It read in part: "Carnival Miracle will also undergo a dry dock in March 2015 that will add a huge variety of additional Fun Ship 2.0 features." Sorry, I haven't seen anything else.

falkcor Posted November 12, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 12, 2014 (edited) "Carnival Miracle will also undergo a dry dock in March 2015 that will add a huge variety of additional Fun Ship 2.0 features." it hasn't been confirmed to my knowledge, but as per the above quote, IF it receives the same 'huge variety of additional Fun Ship 2.0 features', i would expect it to be similar / the same as what the pride just got, which included: · Routine hotel maintenance · Cosmetic enhancements such as new carpeting and tiling, etc. in lounges and public areas · Revamping midship pool to be resort-style pool · Fitness Center – new equipment and flooring · Guy’s Burger Joint · BlueIguana Cantina · BlueIguana Tequila Bar · Bonsai Sushi · WaterWorks · EA SPORTS Bar · Alchemy Bar · RedFrog Pub · Cherry on Top with water works to include the green thunder drop slide, as well as the big screen at the pool. JLee1973 Posted November 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Nothing official but would assume it will receive the same add Pride. As for propulsion issues, this dry dock was scheduled prior to that and it was decided it could wait until dry dock. JillySue Posted November 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 13, 2014 When we were on the Miracle last month and went to the future cruise talk they mentioned the upgrades listed above.
pinknotes Posted November 13, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 13, 2014 I assume it will receive the same as Pride as the Spirit is going into dry dock next year too and it's also receiving the exact same upgrades as Pride (blue iguana, EA sports bar etc) We're planning on sailing Miracle late 2015 or early 2016 so can't wait!
