Transfer in San Francisco

We are arriving in San Francisco a day early and will do some sightseeing that day. We have booked a transfer from the Mark Hopkins to the new terminal. The ship does not leave until 4 p.m. Could we put our luggage on the transfer bus, see a bit more of the city, and show up at 2-2:30 p.m.?

 

San Francisco is one of my favorite cities and want to spend as much time as I can showing my sister the sights. Thanks in advance.

I would get on the transfer bus and make sure my luggage got to the porters and head off sightseeing from Pier 27, it's close to everything. Try the Ferry Building some great cafes and shops.

This is what I would do. Make sure your luggage gets on the ship, then sightsee.
