cruisingbajan Posted August 22, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2005 Hi Guys, First time cruiser here. I was just wondering about the " Las Vegas Type Shows" I've being hearing about on the ships. Are the same shows put on throughout the entire cruise? i.e. if you don't go one night will you be able to see the same show another night? If you have late seating will you see the same show the early seating people have seen? Will you be rushing to the show from dinner or vice versa depending on which show you attend and your dinner time? Thanks for your help. Las vegas show on our 8 day cruise was put on 1 night and there were 2 shows that night an early and a late show. The shows are not put on throguh the entire cruise they are different, sometimes a guest comedy act comes on, another night a hypnotise (sorry about the spelling) another night there was a a musical type show with live singers acting out situations, there are diffrent shows nightly, they usally do not put on the same show more than one night/day, But like I said some shows are played 2 times a day due to variuos dinner scheduales. as far as rushing to the show I did not encounter any problems....... that I remember...... Cotton Posted August 22, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2005 Bajan - On every cruise, Carnival puts on two great "production shows" - with singing, dancing, fabulous costumes, bright colors and feathers, and special lighting and other effects. Very enjoyable. I always leave the show lounge feeling very upbeat! For instance (and I'll use show names from the Holiday), one night there will be "Shout!", and another night it will be "Fuego del Caribe". There will be two showings of each show each of those two nights. Other nights will feature comedians, magicians, etc. Carnival has a good system, so that everybody has a seat at the shows....Early diners go to the early show at 8:30pm. Late diners go to the late show at 10:30pm. That way, there's seating available for everyone. I don't miss the two big shows; a highlight of my cruise.:)
cruisingbajan Posted August 23, 2005 Author #5 Share Posted August 23, 2005 Thanks guys... I was worried I may not have been able to see the shows based on dinner time or seat availability. I am glad everyone will get to see them. This is our first cruise and I am really looking forward to it.
