mommom of 7 Posted November 25, 2014 #26 Share Posted November 25, 2014 It's been my experience, fog issues range from November to February. We were fog delayed on the Legend this past January. By March, water and air temps are more aligned. :) So important to build in time around embark and debark during the winter here in the Tampa area. There's always that chance for fog..... Wonder if we were on the same sailing as we were also delayed a couple of times on the Legend & once on the Paradise. I don't remember which cruises it was though. On the Legend 14 times last winter starting the week before Thanksgiving. Char

DebbieActon Posted January 8, 2015 #28 Share Posted January 8, 2015 US Coast Guard is reporting 1/4 mile visibility issues at the Sunshine Skyway urging extreme caution when transiting in the vicinity. This may delay Paradise slightly but not necessarily significantly and may impact their departure window later on today. It's a bit early in the fog season per se but will be ramping up soon. Hello, I am thinking of booking for the February 12th sailing out of Tampa. What did you mean by "fog season" and will our sailing be in it? How often does a delay happen? Thanks for the info!
