RCL Liberty balcony room questions with toddler - cross post in Family forum

Recommended Posts

We are booked on midship E2 class balcony room on Royal's liberty next month. Our 14 month old son will be staying with us. At home, he's a great sleeper in his own quiet, dark room (no nightlight) and crib. We are planning to just chill on balcony with baby monitor until we're tired.

Thank you in advance for answers to following questions:

1) will my cabin have curtain so that I can separate pack n play from rest of cabin? Or should I bring curtain and hooks as suggested in this Mom's review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2046306

2) where is best place to put pack n play and have least disturbance to balcony, front door, and bathroom?

3) anyone have similar aged toddler sleep on sofa where sofa is turned around and bordered by two walls? Is this even possible in our cabin?

4) can furniture be moved around to suit our needs?

5) does cabin have anything glass (e.g. Glass coffee table)?

Hello, Just got back from the liberty on Dec. 20th 2014, hope my answers help a little.

1) will my cabin have curtain so that I can separate pack n play from rest of cabin? Or should I bring curtain and hooks as suggested in this Mom's review http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2046306 I don't remember there being any curtains at all or any tracks for curtains between the bed and where you could put the pack and play.

2) where is best place to put pack n play and have least disturbance to balcony, front door, and bathroom? You really only have one choice and that is in front of the couch, rest of the room is taken up by the bed and the bathroom area, sorry.

3) anyone have similar aged toddler sleep on sofa where sofa is turned around and bordered by two walls? Is this even possible in our cabin? You should be able to do this if you want.

4) can furniture be moved around to suit our needs? You should be able to do this if you want.

5) does cabin have anything glass (e.g. Glass coffee table)? You will have a small glass coffee table, I would think you could have it removed from your room if you wanted to.
