Doubletree Hotel Tampa Westshore

Hi! I won this on Priceline this afternoon, and was wondering if anyone has stayed there recently and can give a review? The handful of reviews I found on tripadvisor were negative, and dated... hopefully, there are some good things to say about it!

 

Won if for 1 night pre-cruise, 11/19/05, $60 + taxes. Best available online rate was $116.10.

 

Anyone?

Page 2 of this board "Hotel Suggestions for Tampa" it is 15 pages that can make your head spin! I got the same hotel for November 5th according to the experts on that board it is a decent place. I keep telling myself it is only one night. "CrackerKen" did answer questions about it on that board and he seems to know every hotel in Tampa.

I was there 4 1/2 years ago. It was fine then, not much of a lobby, but rooms were big and just fine. I think you got a good deal for 1 night. I wouldn't stress too much. Just think of those just baked chocolate chip cookies they will have waiting for you.
