Question about extra tipping to room stewards...

I've only tipped the room steward in advance once. It really hasn't been an issue and I don't think that it made a difference. Of course I'm not that picky when it comes to my room...beds made, ice, and the room straightened up is enough for me. Now when it comes to a bar waiter, I always tip them in advance.You'll be amazed how often that you see them in different areas on board. They'll be working the pool one afternoon and the show that evening. We always tip in advance and it has never failed to bring what I consider extra special service. You see, getting my beer to me quickly is what I find important!
