Savarra Posted January 8, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2015 We're sailing on the Davina in April. My 10 year old son is concerned that the kids club will be too babyish and he'll be bored. He's saving money for the 4D theater and the F1 simulator. I've searched the forums but most of the reviews I've found involve younger kids or teens. I'd love some input with anyone who has sailed with a 9-11 year old and can tell me about activities and what they loved. Thanks so much.
timetosaygoodbye Posted January 10, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Hi I hope i can help you with this: go to msc homepage search the button: Discover MSC search: Families and Children... click the Button then you search the Button: Kids & Juniors.... click... (are direct links allowed?) Your son find a Juniors Club for Pirates aged 7 - 11 :) And you can register your son for the Juniors Club, what i would do ;) If you go to youtube you find some videos about the club! I hope you enjoy it! All the italians love children, he will have a wonderful time on cruise, i'm sure!! I go with my sister and her son (my godchild) on a cruise and the language will be his biggest challenge (we come from the german part in switzerland :D) And this response was a challenge for me too ;) Claudia
Savarra Posted January 10, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted January 10, 2015 Thanks. I did read all the kids club material on the MSC website. I've also browsed YouTube. My question was more that my son is at the upper end of the kids club age group and if they gear activities toward the 7 year olds, he may hate it. I also have a 7 year old so it's not all bad, but the 7 year old is looking forward to it. The 10 year old is not. I'm looking for anyone with experience with 10 or 11 year olds to see if the kids club or any other activities on the ship were really fun.
