Merlinite Posted January 20, 2015 #29 Share Posted January 20, 2015 As with others we empty the fridge of anything we don't use and then have it for our use. ... whew... way to complicated. there are ice machines on every deck, maybe several, just behind a door somewhere... you just need to know where :) that way you have it whenever you need it. or you could call room service, but that usually costs a dollar ( for us anyway) ;) and takes longer... Kingofcool1947 Posted January 20, 2015 #30 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) 2-15-15 will be our first cruise ever, Do they have ice machines on the cabin decks like hotels do? Thanks, Max No. When you first meet your stateroom steward request him/her to have your ice bucket filled daily. It will be in your stateroom refrigerator nightly. Plenty of room in the refrigerator. Enjoy your cruise. Edited January 20, 2015 by Kingofcool1947
FritzG Posted January 20, 2015 #31 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Thats great however I would hate to think a bunch of passengers were manhandling the ice before it came to my cabin. yuk. My thought exactly!
FritzG Posted January 20, 2015 #32 Share Posted January 20, 2015 I used the scoop, just like the steward would. The biggest difference is that I didn't just finish cleaning the toilets in 16 cabins in my section. What about any other passengers who he gave that info to?
