concierge class

My husband & I have just come back from the Jewel of the Seas maiden voyage on RCL. We had a great time and the ship was lovely. We normally just have a balcony cabin, but this time we splashed out and had a grand suite. The only problem is that we have now been spoiled.

We are due to go on a baltic cruise on the constellation in August and are in cabin 7190, what do you think would be the price of an upgrade to concierge class from this cabin. Is it better to do it at the dock side or through your t/a.

The extra's we had, were a very large cabin, large bath (big enough for two....) priority boarding on the tenders and also on departure day. A treat of chocs etc every afternoon. Enterance into the concierge club was via a card that was left in your room to access the door, is this the same on constellation.

In the concierge club, coffee and orange were available all day, on a night time there were nibbles and chocs, (which were excellent).

Any info greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Concierge class on Celebrity does not get you a larger cabin (they are basically catgory 1 staterooms) - for that you would still need to go to a Suite. We did enjoy some nice "perks," such as a separate check-in line, priority tenders, nicer towels and pillows. The champagne and afternoon canapes didn't do much for us. If you go to celebritycruises.com you can get a detailed description of what they offer in CC - although I will say that we did not get them all on our last cruise.

There is no separate concierge lounge on the Celebrity ships, and there are still certain benefits that are only available to Suite passengers.

We returned last month from the Brillinace and had a Grand Suite as well......the concierge lounge was great wasn't it??

We have a concierge class cabin booked on the Infinity next April from Hawaii to Ensenada...the Concierge Class is similar to the old D category on RC as far as size is concerned......they are trying to position them I think more like a mini suite on RC which is the old C category. The C's though are about 254 sq ft vs. 191 sq ft for the CC on Celebrity.......still the perks for the CC are above what you would get with RC except for a grand suite or higher......hope this helps.
