We have the free classic drinks package with $300 onboard spend. Can anyone tell me if you are able to use this credit to upgrade to the the premium drinks package once onboard.

Yes you can.

 

Effectively the $300 is applied to your account on the last day of the cruise when they produce your bill.

 

It doesn't go against a specific item(s). So if you upgrade for $23 per day for the two of you, then your stateroom will be billed $161 for a week, or $322 for a fortnight.

 

You wont get any credit if you don't spend all of the $300 but i'm sure you'll manage
