Liesel Posted January 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2015 We will be in Nassau with RCI on February 24,2015. We will dock at 1:00 p.m. Husband and I are seniors. We are not interested in spending too much time at the beach. We have done the dolphins and stingrays at other excursions. I am struggling with the RCI excursions. A friend mentioned the Aquarium at Atlantis. I would hate to have to buy a day pass. I can probably only do around 3-4 hours. Is it possible to just do the Aquarium? If so, how would we purchase the ticket and how would we get there from the ship? Any suggestions would be helpful.
Superwoman10 Posted January 21, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 21, 2015 One of my favorite things to do in Nassau is the National Art Gallery of the Bahamas. It is not talked about much on the tourist sites, but if you visit Nassau very often, there is always something new to see here. And a great value at only $5. Their gift shop has true Bahamian made art. http://www.nagb.org.bs Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app
cruiseapril Posted January 27, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 27, 2015 Some do just the aquarium. Check the website. Another option is Ardastra Gardens and Zoo which is much less expensive and quite nice. They have a good website.
