JRos Posted January 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2015 Hi, I have a question regarding staterooms on Disney Fantasy. We are a family with 2 small kids, who will be 3 and 5 at the time of travel. Our little man (age 2) typically shares a bed with my husband or myself on cruises, and my daughter as well. Therefore, in other cruises (ie NCL) we usually have 2 double or queen beds in the room. I'm reading that there is one Queen bed, a single bed and a pull down single bed. Are there safety rails? Im nervous about the configuration as well as the fact that the 2 single beds can't be pushed together. I hope this made sense. TIA
moki'smommy Posted January 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) Safety rails are always placed on the pull down, but you can request them for the other bed as well. In addition, you can request "double rails" meaning that they will run the entire length of the bed. The standard rail is about 4 feet long and handles the mid-portion. With little ones the age of yours, I'd go double rails. Another possibility is for the kids to share the lower bed--put a head at each end and the feet in the middle! Just ask your stateroom host for the rails. Edited January 18, 2015 by moki'smommy
JRos Posted January 19, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Thanks! That alleviates some anxiety. I will definitely request the full side rails.
