Or is this something where you have a life jacket that keeps you where you need to be? We have some in our group that cant swim and there are limited excursions for them. We have some in our group that cant swim and there are limited excursions for them. we did snuba in cozumel and it was awesome highly recommended with that being said you dont have to know how to swim per say as you do have a life vest with weights to keep you under and you are attached to a boat on the top of the water and a guide is under with you, but you do have to learn to breathe using an underwater mask. my hubby is a great swimmer and was unable to snuba as he has trouble with the breathing said it seemed like he wasnt getting ebnough air.
