kruuzinsooner Posted August 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 28, 2005 I always book one or two catamaran snorkle excursions during each cruise I have taken before and have never seen a weight limit requirement listed. There are two different catamaran excursions listed in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico that limit your weight to 220 pounds. It must be enforced pretty closely as they make you check a box concerning your weight before you can purchase the tickets. Does anyone know what this is all about? CaptData Posted August 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Some of the boats used are small (think under 12 pax). This is a relativly new area where you must tender in. They leave from shallow docks so over loading the boats would not be good. They also can have a bit of a rough ride due to wave action in this area. Depending on the day you may be asked to wear your life vest as soon as you board. These boats can get into some very tight (shallow) areas where bigger boats can not go. The one whereyou get to see 5 inlets is just that 5 small inlets.
