Time needed from Seattle port to the airport

When I was in Seattle last year it took about 45 minutes from downtown to the AP without traffic. In that city, with that unpredictable weather, I wouldn't risk an 11:30 flight. Remember, you have to be at the AP at least 1 - 1 1/2 hours before flight time. Do you really think you can make it to the AP by 10?

We live just north of Seattle and use Sea Tac a lot, in fact, twice last week. An 11:30am flight would be do-able but kinda stressful. Any little burp in the process (taxi problem, traffic, late debarkation) would really mess you up. If you can book a later flight I would suggest doing so.
