SHINEMAN Posted August 29, 2005 #1 Share Posted August 29, 2005 Any idea what time they start taking on passengers on the Majesty out of Boston? Is it better to be early, late or somewhere in between? Trying to avoid standing around on lines. Do they have a lounge or anything to make the wait more comfortable/

basketballmom Posted August 29, 2005 #3 Share Posted August 29, 2005 Are you a Latitude member? We are so it might make a difference. We arrived at Black Falcon Terminal at 11:00 and were on the ship by 12:00. The process is pretty quick in Boston, not like other major city cruise ports. I have never heard of anyone really complaining of long lines to get on the Majesty.
Tomct Posted August 29, 2005 #4 Share Posted August 29, 2005 We arrived for our 6/26 cruise at 11:30, and were onboard by 12:00. There basically was no line, and our Latitudes membership was not necessary. Even though there was no wait, NCL waitstaff was there to greet us and provide some liquid refreshment on a very hot and humid morning. Ms. Radke turned out to be one of our favorites on the ship, working the theater at night, and nearby bar during the day.
oldnavybanker Posted August 29, 2005 #5 Share Posted August 29, 2005 I arrived at 11:00 forthe Aug. 7 sailing - we were on board by 11:15 -- they have the procedure down pat. The ship arrives at about 7:00, and most passengers are off by 9:30. You might be able to figure on a delay if there is rough weather at sea the evening before, but barring that, if you plan on getting to the pier by 11:00to 11:30, you should have no problem. I did notice, looking down from the upper deck at 2:00 or 2:30 that there were long lines --- local people who get a late start as well as people who drive from three or four hours away make that a busy time.
