Ship Occupancy While Docked In Bermuda

I am doing my first NCL Breakaway Bermuda sailing this coming May and am just curious what the ship is like while docked in Bermuda for 3 full days.

For those that have done this sailing before, did you find the ship tends to "empty out" while docked for 3 days? I would imagine most guests would return in time for dinner/sleeping.

Not sure what you mean by empty out. There are some who may not go ashore during the day and just enjoy a quieter time with less people on board.

Some passengers may eat on shore for dinner but they all return to sleep.

You can come and go 24/7 from the ship while you are docked but there isn't much open in Bermuda at night. They pretty much roll up the sidewalks and put them away for the night except for a few bars and restaurants around the Dockyard. Buses and ferries don't run all night either. We usually go back to the ship for supper and then do the evening show. They are now allowed to open the Casino at 9 PM while docked. That is new this year.

  • 2 weeks later...

Our last trip to bermuda on breakaway we stayed on the ship except to go play mini golf and shop for a few souvenirs at the dockyard. It was one of my most favorite vacations because we just relaxed the entire time. We spent most of the days in spice lounging and reading, occasionally going under the water fountain to stay cool. We even went in the pool for the first time cause there was no one in it except maybe 1 or 2 others.
