Parking at the Whale Wall

I have never seen the Whale Lot full, even on weekends with multiple departures.

It wasn't full when we were there in February. The only problem with parking there is that it can be a bit of a walk (we had to park close to the street with a long walk). You can unload with the porters first, but still must walk a ways (with your carry on), so if you have any issues it's not a good choice. Once before we used Machu Picchu. Left our car at their facility, they took us to our hotel (with our overnight bags), picked us up the next morning (they transferred our luggage from our car to their shuttle), delivered us to the port and was there to pick us up on return. One slight problem--they forgot to transfer one of our bags from the car to their shuttle.  I like the whale lot just fine although if you have someone with problems walking, it could be a bit of a problem for them.
