When is the sailing date?

We are going to be on the Nautica from Istanbul to Athens in May. It said on the itinerary page the sailing date is May 17, 2006. Now is the 17th day one and we leave Istanbul on day two on the 18th at 11pm?

 

Or is our day one really on the 16th and day two is on the 17th and we sail at 11pm?

 

I have put in for air deviation that we leave Texas on the 16th-----the day before our day one (I think) cruise starts and arrive on the 17th and we spend the first night on the ship in port, and sail on the 18th.

We are also booked for the 5/17/06 cruise, and you are correct, embarkation is on Wednesday, 5/17, then Nautica sails from Istanbul on Thursday evening.

On Istanbul to Athens last month we arrived in Istanbul and boarded the shop on July 10 and we departed at 11 PM on July 11. We had a full day and a half in Istanbul before sailing.
