Graduation surprise

We will be on the Dream in June celebrating my daughter's and her best friend's graduation. Can i arrange for a surprise in the dining room? I'm getting them each a special bracelet. Would i be able to have them bring to table with a cake or anything? I've checked out the cakes online and am thinking the Congratulations cake unless i can order one on the ship that is different? Any suggestions would be great.

Thanks!

Some things we do for special occasions. We bring along some fun and colorful bags of candy (or buy them in the sweet shop) and spread them on the table like confetti...and then invite the servers to have some too. We also bring along some string and balloon and have fun blowing them up and tying them to the chairs. A fun homemade mortar board for the girls to wear (yeh, embarrass the heck out of them) with a graduation certificate created on our computers nicely tied up with a fancy ribbon and wrapped around a few twenties for them to spend on shore would be a nice touch. And the special cakes are great. Carnival will give you all the details of how to get it to the table. Have fun.

That's a great idea. We will be cruising in May for a graduation as well.

I do think they will bring your gift and do something for a surprise for them just let them know in advance. I have seen them do other birthday wishes and other special occasions on ships. Have fun...

In addition, you can even wait until you are onboard to order the cake. We had one made with a custom message on top (about $8) and the waiter brought it to the table at the conclusion of the meal...you pick the evening you want it delivered. They can also light a candle on it, sing a song, and cut and serve it for you, if asked. We then provided other gifts we brought with us for the recipient. Absolutely easy way to celebrate a special occasion.

Here's hoping you have a great cruise. Bon Voyage!
