bridetobe15 Posted February 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2015 Help! In order to get information out ASAP, as well as save money, I'm thinking about doing a cruise ticket invite with all necessary information. Does anyone have templates or a website they used for a template? How early should invites be sent? Our cruise is December 2015. All of our guests are aware of the dates as a heads up. Thanks for any advice and information :)
dbrown13 Posted February 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2015 I have not done mine yet so I don't personally have a template, but I do recommend Vanessa's Destination Wedding Invitations for templates and even printing them if you'd like. Their reviews are great and I have seen several examples from brides that have used them. We opted to skip physical Save the Dates and sent out emails from The Knot with our wedding website which I keep up to date with all of the information so that our guests can go there anytime. You can take a look at the website from the link in my signature if you'd like. It's a free offering from theknot.com and everyone has commented how much they like it. Even if you do something like a website I would still recommend putting all of the details in the invites as well. As far as the time frame... I think the earlier the better. A cruise is a pretty big expense and guests will have to take time off in order to attend. I sent out the website last week (14 months out) and will be getting the invites out between 10-12 months out.
