Waterfront Cafe - taxi required?

Our ship is docked overnight in Bridgetown this Friday. Four of us are heading to the Waterfront Cafe early evening and hope to stay a while to eat and take in the atmosphere. :)

 

Is it safe to walk there and back or should we take a taxi each way?

 

What's the safest route for walking?

How much should a taxi cost each way?

To walk there...the easiest route is to just exit the port and walked along the boardwalk....it will take you right to the waterfront. Its about a 15/20 minute casual stroll.

 

While it is not a far walk ( this maybe relative) I would recommend you take a taxi, especially if you are going to be going after dark. Not because its not safe but because it is what I would do.

 

A taxi should be about $10 each way.
