Emergency contact phone number on Breeze??

I was just trying to gather emergency contact info for the Breeze from the Carnival website to leave with family members and saw this info pasted below. So does this mean that the no longer offer shore to ship phone directly to cabins, but that they will follow the procedure below if someone calls the 800 number? Wasn't planning on using cell phone service or paying for internet while on board. At first, when I read it, I thought it meant there is no longer any shore to ship communication, which would be quite odd.

We know many of you would like an emergency contact number for family members not traveling with you. Therefore, in the event of a true emergency, loved ones may contact our call center at 1-800-227-6482 on a 24/7 basis. Our team will take down the caller's name and contact information and pass it on to our Guest Services team onboard so they can extend the guest a complimentary phone call.

This is the way it was handled when my Wife's grandmother passed away while we were on the Freedom. Guest Services was extremely helpful and seemed to be genuinely concerned.
