Need suggestions for Falmouth

Looking for ideas for my friend and myself for our stop in Falmouth. Don't want to do anything too strenuous (climbing the falls is not an option) and are looking for something affordable and safe outside the cruise pier walls.

- shopping

- historical tours

- beach nearby (walkin snorkeling would be a plus)

We realize we can't do more than one or maybe two on our stop, just looking for suggestions of things we might be able to do on our own before we give our money to Carnival.

Thanks!

The Green Grotto Caves are close and not too strenuous.

Bamboo rafting on the Martha Brae River is fun and close and easy.

The Green Wood and Rose Hall Great Houses are about a 30 minute drive each way. Both are old sugar plantations with lots of historical stuff. We prefer the green Wood Great House.
