Divina pool on embarkation day

In looking through the various threads I am confused on whether the pool is open on embarkation day in Miami. A couple of posts talked about it being emptied because it is salt water, one mentioned it was closed with railings down for maintenance, saw a couple of posts who referred to using hot tubs but no pool mention.

What was your experience?

I sailed on the Halloween cruise on the Divina and the pools were open when we boarded in Miami. I bring my swimsuit in my carry on and change in the ladies room if the cabins aren't ready. Luggage may not arrive until late in the day.

that is my usual plan as well, but was concerned about a few of the reviews mentioning something different. being this is my first cruise with MSC I was unsure if things were unique.

On the Feb 21 Sailing the main pool was drained on embarkation. The ship had just returned from a charter that used the pool area as a stage/dance floor as they were doing some work on the pool and hot tubs in that area when we boarded. The infinity pool was full and had some action if I remember right, as did the indoor pool, and the main pool was up and running again the following morning.

When we sailed last November, one of the pools was having a little tile work done on embarkation day, but the others were open. I think they just try and get some maintenance done when the ship is empty.
