nk918 Posted September 6, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Hello all, 1st time cruiser who needs a little help... A few quick questions for you.... 1. Do I need to bring my own towels? For example, I have to have 2 towels when I take a shower, one for hair and one for body (plus one for husband). And for shore excursions?? 2. Do I need to bring an extra pillow? I always sleep with two and my husband needs one? THANK YOU for any help!!!!! :)
reverie04 Posted September 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Nope :) Towels are provided- just make sure to ask your room steward for extras because they only put out one per person per day unless you ask :) And you can always ask for another pillow unless you have a special one you sleep with like my DM. Alexis Posted September 6, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 6, 2005 Any cruise I have been on with RCCL, (7) there has always been one extra pillow in the closet or on a shelf. You can get another from the cabin attendant.
nanfromatlanta Posted September 6, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2005 They will gladly supply you will extra towels and pillows. As soon as I board, I usually tell my cabin attendant what I need, and I am good for the remainder of the cruise.
OPSoccermom Posted September 6, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2005 RCI will provide beach towels for the pool and shore excursions. Remember, though, that if you want them exchanged by your cabin attendant, you need to leave them laying on the floor. Seems strange to me, but after 3 days of not having them changed, I asked our cabin steward why, and he said it was because we had hung them up on the back of the bathroom room door and he would only exchange them if they were laying on the floor. Sorry, but I don't like to leave things laying around on the floor - we had even left a post-it note on the mirror asking that they be changed.... After we started leaving them laying around on the floor, they were exchanged every day.
