Valor or Star Princess

I was booked on the Conquest, but since it has moved to Galveston, it will be way too expensive to change my flight and rebook to Houston. We have no choices that will not be more expensive so I'm deciding between the Carnival Valor and the Star Princess. The Star Princess is a little cheaper, but I like the Valor itinerary better. Has anyone been on either of these and can you recommend one over the other?

I picked the Valor even tho it was a bit more expensive than another cruise. I did it because the Valor is so new and the reviews have been great.

 

If its not much more expensive and you like the itinerary better, I'd go with the Valor.

 

Sorry about your cancelled cruise, glad you are able to get on another one tho.
