eastwestmom Posted March 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 25, 2015 I hear our balcony faces the boardwalk, and I know that we are aft. Does anyone have experience with this part of ship? Will it be noisy? I have light sleepers...
serene56 Posted March 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2015 if you are inside the cabin the noise from the boardwalk should not interfer with your sleep. Make sure the door to the balcony is closed tightly and close the curtains.
Hawaiifrank Posted April 5, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2015 I hear our balcony faces the boardwalk, and I know that we are aft. Does anyone have experience with this part of ship? Will it be noisy? I have light sleepers... We've had prominade (PR catagory) cabins on several cruises with a window overlooking the mall/prominade. We've never been bothered by the noise even during the parades and street parties. We have cabin 12719 on the RCCL Oasis in February 2016. Going by the room numbers, this is looks like it's just a couple of decks above yours. I'm not worried about the noise. I'm wondering how the view will be. Any reviews for boardwalk balconies?
