Ed Wudz Posted March 31, 2015 #1 Share Posted March 31, 2015 I've been offered an upgrade to asuite from a Deluxe outside for £100 per person and was wondering whether it was worth the extra. Does anyone have knowledge/experience of the suites on the Spirit?
thesignalman Posted April 13, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 13, 2015 We found ours very comfortable, with a separate seating area, king size bed, bath & shower, oodles of storage space and of course some of them (Deck 9- 001 - 020 ) now have balconys, which we didn't have at that time. Another bonus is that if you get deck 9 you are nice and handy for Horizons........... Deck 8 you will invariably have a view of the lifeboats. All depends really whether you want to spend £100 for a bit more room. We only booked the suite as there were no "threes" cabins left and we took our daughter, plus it was a 15 day cruise and were glad of the space. Since then we've been quite happy with a deck 7/8 deluxe for the longer cruises, as now it's just the two of us.
mtt Posted April 13, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2015 Suites are only on deck 7 and 8, deck 9 are deluxe balcony cabins. In suites you also get premier service which is priority check in at the port, 3 items pressed within first 24 hours and a free continental breakfast on 1 morning of your choice
Tiggertastic Posted April 24, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 24, 2015 I would take it, the space was really good. We had a six foot bed, a good size bathroom with bath and shower and a big seating area which is also a double sofa bed Much preferred the space
