YVE in Miami

Has anyone stayed at the YVE in the downtown area of Miami? Thinking about booking, but looking for some comments from fellow cruisers. There must be some big event happening Nov 6/7 2015 as the hotels I usually stay in pre cruise have no availability.

We stayed there one night pre-cruise on 3/15/15. Great hotel and great location, no problems at all. We spent the afternoon at the Bayside Marketplace and cab to the port was $6

Check it out on trip advisor. Haven't stayed, but I know the location is good for a one night precruise. Rooms have been reported as smaller. But clean. If you do a research it has been discussed here before. Here is one thread specifically with a review.

Thanks for your input and for the link to a previous thread. Just haven't heard too much about this particular hotel. I am going to make a reservation for this property for our Nov cruise.
