live2beontheseas Posted September 9, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2005 My wife and I will be sailing the Mariner on 10/23 and want to post some pictures when we get back for all fellow cruise critic members to see (I also plan on taking detailed notes for a full review). My question, what is the best site to sign up to, to upload your pictures onto for viewing. I am looking for something that is free and has unlimited photo storage. Not sure if anything like that exists, but I am sure someone out there has an answer. Mariner of the Seas 9/04 Mariner again 10/
crb04 Posted September 9, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 9, 2005 Not sure about unlimited, but can try:Yahoo photo, webshots, photobucket, imgspot....Yahoo photo is one of the easiest, IMO, and allows for large number of photos to be arranged in one, or multiple (your preference), albums. glgolfer Posted September 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2005 You can post pictures on Webshots for free, but not unlimited free. It's not very much to be able to post as many as you want. It's http://www.webshots.com Here's our pictures if you're interested in how they're presented. http://community.webshots.com/user/rcicruisers
TidePrideGA Posted September 10, 2005 #4 Share Posted September 10, 2005 I vote for webshots as well. I love the wallpaper/screensaver feature.
huskerdude Posted September 10, 2005 #5 Share Posted September 10, 2005 We used webshots for our last cruise pics. Not sure about a limit on the number you can upload to your album, but we have about 100 on our's and did not cost anything. You can even put descriptions on them to tell people what exactly they are looking at. I hate to see a picture of something and have no idea of where it was taken or what it is a pic of. Another neat thing they do is send you weekly updates of how many people have viewed your album. We were amazed at how many people were looking at it.
