Cruise4Real Posted April 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 16, 2015 We're on the Breakaway next week, and will be at NCL's private island on Wednesday 4/22 and Nassau on Thursday 4/23. Weather.com is showing 80% chance of thunderstorms on both days. Ugh. So my question for knowledgeable folks is, does this sound like we'll have thunderstorms all day? Or would it be a quick 15 minute rain storm followed by better weather? If we were looking at this kind of forecast in the northeast U.S. we'd expect to have pretty much downpours all day, but I'm hoping that in "the tropics" the rain might be a little more brief or sporadic. Cruise-Crazy Posted April 17, 2015 #2 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Can't say for sure but showers in the Caribbean usually pass by pretty quick.

Weather looks marginally better on Thursday (Nassau) as now they're only saying 50% chance of precip.
