vodkatonic1961 Posted April 17, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 17, 2015 Hi, Has anyone hired a wheelchair from the mobility at sea company and if so would you recommend using them? I am interested in the cost and the customer service aspect particularly, thanks in advance

rbrugler Posted April 20, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Wheelchairs on cruise ships are a real pain. It is harder to maneuver on carpet. Every so often there are dividers in the hallways and chairs cannot go over them without a push. And lastly, the rental ones are way to wide for all but the most hefty passengers. It is much better to rent an electric scooter.
Stellamax09 Posted April 27, 2015 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2015 I've used them several times. Customer service is excellent and prices are very reasonable. I wouldn't even consider a wheelchair to be honest. Go for a scooter, much easier in my experience.
