i was booked on the one nighter dawn for mothers day but unfortunately cruise was cancelled the night before while i was packing as it was runing into bad weather and was not going to be in new york on time - i was thinking about the 10/29 one as it is a saturday but just looked at the dawn for may 6 which is a one night cruise next year and felt maybe weather will be nicer in may - when i booked the mothers day one alot of people said they were on it before and had a blast - yes it is a tease for one night but a nice way to try out the dawn.

if u are leary about october, look into the may 6 one - i believe the price is even cheaper in may

I just put the 10/29 cruise on a 24-hour courtesy hold earlier today. I'm on the fence about going, though. Trying to figure out how many hours I would have to stay awake to justify paying $250! (Wish it docked later than it does the next morning.)

For your added info, I did a two-night cruise to nowhere on the Carnival Triumph a fourth of July weekend about two years ago. That was a lot of fun, but, again, it was in the summer.

We're all booked for the 10/29 one nighter got our docs in the safe :D :D :D As it gets closer the more excited I become can You tell?? Its my first time doing a 1 night cruise. We will be celebrating my stepmoms B-Day. Shes very excited about that. This is going to be a few of my family members first time on a cruise, so they will be able to get a feel of the boat and deside if they want to do the 8 day in 06(my uncle has a fear of boats:rolleyes: ) I think this will be a nice tidbit before winter sets in!

I just booked it as well. I spoke to someone who had been on another 1 nighter... she told me it is alot of fun and they do a great job at showing you everything and present a great trip to try to get you to come back for more! I am excited to give NCL a shot and see what the dawn is all about!
