Cruise air or not?

This subject is definitly a "different strokes for different folks". I completely understand where you are all coming from. We were on the Mariner last week. Got our air thru RCI.............paid just a little more a person than going thru other outlets. Flew on the day of (9/4/05) and flew home the day of (9/11/05). We were able to pick our departure times (being platinum, they did not charge us for this) We were on the ship by 1:00 (Florida time); back home in O'Hare (Chicago) by 3:30 PM. One time, I remember, ship was supposed to sail out at 5:00 PM...............did not do so until like 9:00 or 10:00 PM.............I think there was a snow storm in the eastern part of US that day..........maybe a lot of passengers from that part of US????
