mufc99 Posted May 16, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2015 Hi, does anybody have details of the nightly shows that are on the pride of America at present - which hopefully will be the same when we go in October? Thanks
zookiebird Posted May 16, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2015 We were on the POA in March. For the most part we really enjoyed the shows. The primary ones were "Oh, What A Night" (a 4-Seassons tribute group) and comedian Michael Sommerville (has appeared on David Letterman). Each had shows on two separate nights and were absolutely terrific. Don't know what you'll have in October but you'll be in great shape if the quality you get is up to these fine acts. Another show was a magician (sorry, don't remember his name). Not great, but had a couple of pretty cool illusions. Lastly, there was a singer / dancer troupe production of "Salute to Movie Musicals". Others liked it but to me it was very weak and not up to the standards it should have met. Lastly, The POA staff were terrific. They really went all out. You're going to have a great cruise. Aloha!!!
dancecj Posted May 16, 2015 #3 Share Posted May 16, 2015 We are sailing on POA on 8/1/15 and were also curious about the entertainment. We always see as many shows as possible while cruising. The NCL website did't give a lot of info on this. So thank you! And is there only one "no pay" restaurant? It seems like everything had an extra cost! pizzalady1 Posted May 17, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 17, 2015 I forgot to mention the Cadillac Diner as well as an assortment of grills throughout the ship. If you go to http://www.ncl.com/why-cruise-norwegian/cruise-dining, you can download the dining guide.

greatlakesgirl Posted May 17, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 17, 2015 The Key West Bar and Grill above the pool deck is a great place to catch a quick bite to eat in the afternoon. :)
