Escape Guaranteed Balconies

We booked a guaranteed balcony on the Escape for January 16, 2016. We have already been assigned a cabin. Since it is still so far away, is it possible the cabin can change once it is assigned?

I had done the same for our 11/21/15 Escape cruise. We were assigned last week. I was assured by NCL and my TA that once you are assigned, that is your cabin unless you choose to do a paid upgrade.
