Maelee6892 Posted May 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 18, 2015 Hello everyone, We are getting married on the Freedom of the Seas July 2016. We need to book a group of 60 people at a near by hotel. What are the best hotels around the area that have early shuttle service and reasonable prices? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Miss Kellybean Posted May 26, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 26, 2015 We chose the Hampton Inn Cocoa Beach. The location is just a few miles away and they have three options for a shuttle. You can pay $45 for rt from the Orlando airport and rt from hotel to the cruise terminal. Another option is that you can pay $15 per person for a rt shuttle from the hotel to terminal and a third option is to park at the port and get a 40% off coupon. They will arrange early shuttles for wedding parties. They are on the beach, have a Courtyard as their sister property next door with a bar/restaurant, etc. and allow you to use all of the amenities there. They are letting us use the breakfast room for our welcome dinner free of charge (we are bringing in 4 Rivers Catering from Orlando) and they have complimentary breakfast. It is pretty much on the beach, has great reviews on Trip Advisor and the sales team was easy to work with. There is not a penalty for not using your entire block and the rates are fair. I am too looking at hotels for a wedding party. Did you call the hotel directly or did you call the 800 number? Is there a specific person that you are working with? Thanks, Lori
Maelee6892 Posted May 26, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I called several hotels in Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach. We are going with the Best Western in Cocoa Beach. I called the hotel numers, not the 1800 number
mrstriceasnice Posted May 26, 2015 #5 Share Posted May 26, 2015 We did the Radisson at the port. I booked it online.
Miss Kellybean Posted May 30, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2015 It is always a good idea to call a hotel directly if you are booking several rooms. Ask for the Group Sales Manager. The Hampton also gave me a personal link to post to my wedding Web site for my guests to book from. They were great!

I just spoke with them yesterday and was told that we could not bring any outside food/drink into the Hampton Inn. If we wanted anything we would have to go to the courtyard to get it. Did they say that you could bring in the outside food? Thanks!
