I have just booked the Ireland's Inn Beach Resort at 2220 N. Atlantic Blvd. for 2 days post cruise. We are in the main bldg. ocean front. Was just wondering what your opinion of this hotel is. I read that the main bldg. was just redone through-out. I can still cancel if it isn't what it is suppose to be. So what do you think of this hotel? Thanks in advance for your opinions... Linda

p.s. we are already booked in to Holiday Inn Express for 2 day pre-cruise thanks to all who have told us about the hotel/motels on 17th St. Thanks for all the info. on those....:p

Ireland's Inn is an old hotel on the north end of Fort Lauderdale Beach. I haven't been in it so can't comment on it's quality, but do know that there's nothing to walk to from there, you'll either need a car or cab to go to dinner, shopping, etc.

If you want to stay in that general area I can highly recommend Pelican Beach's new tower, it's quite nice!... http://www.pelicanbeach.com/
