Celebrity Solstice Review: May 8th 2015

Thanks for a timely bit of info. We are cruising August 21-28. Aqua class. What do you recommend for daytime dress? No excursions but strolling into towns.

My pleasure, Banrambo. We did had glorious weather, so that is the proviso. We usually wore walking pants, comfortable footwear, thin long sleeve t and a thin t. The rain jacket and lightweight fleece both often stayed in the day bag. I'd say both of these are essential if the weather gets wetter, colder, or you plan to do any last minute excursions, particularly on water or up high.

Safe and happy travels!

What your thoughts about not getting a balcony for Alaska and if anyone didn't get one did you regret not getting one?

Hello!

We always get a balcony because my wife demands it, but I would say Alaska would be one place you probably should get one. The views are great, and you are often near either land or wildlife (whales etc..) I'm sure you would have a great time with any type of cabin, but Alaska has to be seen as often as possible.
