Hi Folks,

Cruising to Bahama's the end of October for 4 nights out of Canaveral. Any tips on snorkeling at Freeport stop? We will do the Blue Lagoon thing at Nassau and have planned to go to Deadman's reef via taxi from cruise docking point. Any info on cost would be helpful. Also any tips on Blue Lagoon would also be helpful. Thanks.

Rent a car and go to Paradise Cove. Car rental like $50.00 for entire day. Retnal was available at the dock. You can't get a taxi. Paradise Cove has a website. I have snorkel on many islands, Belize, Caymans, etc. It's one the best places I have ever been. I probably shouldn't give the place away. It is very quite. No ship excursions call there. Rental equipment is available. There is a bar and restaurant. I think there is like a $5.00 charge for the entire day. It's not to be missed. The Blue Lagoon is also nice. I have done it.
