Sheraton FLL Airport

Has anyone ever stayed at the Sheraton FLL Airport before? It's a 3star. I got it on Hotwire for 58.00.

We stayed there in February - it is a nice place - however - not near anything - for a $5 cab ride there is a nice seafod restaurant called "Islamorada Fish Company"

We stayed there in February and will be again in November. Both times I got it for $45 on Priceline. There's nothing close by but if you're only there overnight no problem. The rooms and staff were excellent. Our only complaint was the waiter we had in the dining room. Their airport pickup was extremely fast - less then 5 minutes from the time we phoned.

Our plane doesn't get in until a few minutes after midnight, so it's not a big deal that there's nothing to do.

 

Does anyone know if airport shuttle runs that late?

Used the airport shuttle last Feb. after an 11h45pm arrival. Only problem was that at that hour we had to wait at least 25 minutes for the shuttle to arrive. (But we were outside and the temperature was way better than the 25 degrees we had just left) The hotel was average Sheraton. Clean comfortable and a nice pool area. My kids borrowed tennis stuff from the reception the next morning and had a good game. Based on the priceline rates this is a real bargain. I wouldn't want to pay rack rate. You won't have any serious complaints.
