How are the rooms on deck 6?

I was looking at the deck plans on the Fantasy. Our room is towards the front, just past the stairs. Has anyone had a room on deck 6? If so, how was it? Was it noisy, quiet? How were the verandas? On a thread I was searching through people were saying the verandas on deck 6 of the Magic were a little bit bigger. Is this true for the Fantasy as well? Thanks.

There is a lot more variation among cabins on the Fantasy than on the Magic. Deck 6 is one of the standard cabin decks. How noisy or not will depend greatly on your fellow guests--there is no reason you should have "ship noise" that is inherent to the structure. If you google your cabin number "Disney Fantasy WXYZ" you will get any reviews of your specific room that have been posted.

I have stayed on deck 6 (midship/starboard). We really enjoyed it. It was very quiet. We are staying on deck 6 again this year. Be aware that the lifeboats are directly below your balcony. See photo. This did not bother us at all, but some people do complain about the lifeboat being right there.
