Hello, (1st time post here...please don't kill me!)

We are traveling with 2 other adults for a cruise in December and they have their own room. My question is how do I go about paying for the cheers package for them? Usually, my understanding is any purchases would go on the sign and sail card but would I be able to just say here put it on my tab? Thanks!

You'd probably have to put the money in their account. I don't think they have any way to charge your S&S card for something like that since the S&S card is how they assign who has the Cheeers program. Assuming it's two adults in the cabin, you'd need to put $100 X the number of days of the cruise, if they're buying it on the first day.

Thanks for the feedback! Since we purchased the cruise as their Christmas Presents, I was hoping to make it all inclusive for them.

A trip to guest services to explain the situation should do the trick, if it starts to get complicated just have your 2 family members/friends purchase the drink package as they normally would and then hand them a check for the cost of it. Comes out to about $57 per day, per person.

Wow! Nice present! Are you looking for friends and family? ;):D

Seriously though, I would call Carnival and see what they can do in advance of the trip.

Yes, you can absolutely purchase their Cheers program and charge it to your S&S account, they will just need to be with you when you purchase it so the sticker can be put on their individual cards.

I've done this many times.

They will probably want to swipe their cards but then cancel the transaction just to verify that both of them are over 21 and the only adults in the cabin.
