Transportation Heathrow to Central London, and port

I have read several posts about the Heathrow Express, but don't want to take the train. I am looking at a private car. Looked at 24/7, Express Airport Transport, Smith's for Airports, but all Tripadvisor reviews are at least a year old. Any current reviews you would like to comment? We would need transportation Heathrow to central London, later London to Southampton port, and later again, southamption port to Heathrow. Suggestions/comments please.

Smiths for Airports are highly-regarded and good value. They're based at the Southampton end, so they're fine for central London to Southampton and Southampton to Heathrow.

But Heathrow to central London is way out of their patch and either they won't quote for that, or they'll be uncompetitive.

Agreed - separate the two parts. For LHR to London pretty much any firm that comes up on a search will be OK. You should not be paying more than £50 unless you want a limo.

 

For both of the other legs, Smiths seem to be well recommended on this board.

Just wanted to mention we used 24/7 twice last year and they were just great
