services of the concierge

I was wondering what services the concierge typically performs for you? I looked for a list on the NCL website and through the search function here but couldn't find anything. Other than making reservations for you, what does their job entail? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Mine arranged hard to get dinner reservations (she was a bulldog for us and persistent). Became a middle women to help me resolve an issue I had in my cabin with the pullout bed. Escorted us to head of line to use the ferry to shore. She also escorted us to the head of line when getting off the ship on the last day, bypassing 1,000's of people. Got my butler to do something he said was not doable (bring pretzel rolls to cabin), and chatted with us at breakfasts every morning to ensure we were happy and to keep letting us know to call her for anything.

That was between two cruises. Both were great and worth their weight in gold.

thank you for this

I was just wondering myself who do you go to if you happen to have a problem or are unhappy with your butler

On our last cruise we were having dinner in the Italian restaurant which was right below the basketball court. The basketball court was supposed to be closed but some teenage boys found a way in and were playing. The noise was really bad. Who should appear but the concierge, Elvina, with a security officer. The restaurant hostess had called her. They went up to deck 12 and the noise stopped immediately. She came back to the restaurant and stopped by most of the tables, including ours, apologizing to everyone.

We've mostly used the concierge for restaurant reservations and for reserving the Chef's Table dinner. A couple of times they've offered priority debarkation at ports of call, not just tender ports.
